Brooding Silently
Very deep and mysterious qualities lie within your write. I think I can read between the lines and see a deep sadness of one very confused and messed up life. Sometimes brooding silently is the best way as not to add insult to injury. Although this world is filled with love hatred still abides as well. Hugs yourself today because you are worth it. -JacieStralkoDuca

Always a unique voice. "This was life without a hero." particularly struck me, very lyrical, very melancholy.-tony parsons
Only Metaphors
It's been a while since I've
It's been a while since I've spent any time here. But it's refreshing to see, there are still some true poets here. I've got a few self portraits hidden in my own tar pit, that I'd rather not explore. I guess if you've been around enough, it's bound to be that way.
“I am careless about my height amidst tall peaks” - that is a lovely line.- Spinoza

Vigilance
It is Always good to be vigil. Perfectly said. Thank you for sharing this thoughtful poem.-Sylvia Frances Chan
Aconite
We call aconite "monkshood" here, a late autumn flower - and very little blooms here in late autumn. Beautiful thing, with lovely leaves as well as flowers, a beautiful blue color, and again, a rich blue is unusual in flowers here. In any event, "Roaches are scuttling like rats with wings. Their country." is quite effective, quite striking - like William Burroughs in a away. Interesting read.-tony parsons
