TRAILING WAR

Hello Satish: Your poem testifies to the old saying that "War is Hell" with "the streets were livid with rustic murals...of splintered blood on walls" and your last verse holds you and your art accountable as a witness. - Paul Rainwater, USA

JEALOUS BLOOD

Satish a moving poem of the past, and the memories endured by those who survived horrific scenes of inhumanity. Each time I read your works I am shocked into a moment of past, and think of life, war and the fear of all who suffered in concentration camps. Your fight for peace is a true tribute to them all. Thank you.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

WORDLESS SILENCE

Thought provoking in its essence.- Kamala

Yet if one embraces the Wood of The Cross, instead of theanemic value of an ostensibly jocular agnostic and/or atheistic notion of a "Big BANG", nos, a"Black Hole"....perhaps the inconsistency & trepidation which is paragon for a Mind that zig-zags, or cannot grasp onto committ to a theory or belief without pockets of doubt or fear of consequence comes with he or she that has yet to take a walk on the side of Faith & a Paradise beyond all this.....Merry Christmas, & A Healthy, Fruitful , Creative(and Moon-ful...lol!) NOBODY WEEPS

Satish again your metaphors have given this verse a strong and blundt look at war and death. This particular piece gives the reader insight to the numbers of babies executed and our hearts follow history with the dread of truth. Your formidable work of awaking individuals to the truth helps all to understand the fear and loss that occurred at such 'camps'. Thank you for your words.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

DEATH AND APOLLO

Satish "a flock of sheep was butchered by a wild beast" a soulful ending to the life and death of those who suffered the holocaust. Whatever war makes "fear unlimited": lines to be 'crucified', poverty through greed of political decisions, meek young boys pulling numbers for draft; history and today takes our sheep and buries them for "coin". Thankful for sharing in this constant companionship we all seek for - freedom and peace.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

GENEROSITY

Satish a wonderful use of metaphoric work. Between the melancholy there is some lightness in your verse, I hope one day for you, you will not be the owl who disregards the stars. Your continuous work for peace, by revealing the facts first hand, keeps us humbled in our trivial problems of life and times. Thank you Satish :)- Marcia Schechinger, USA

CHRONIC WAIT

Satish with brilliance you create the scene of the 'sacrificial' bomber whose "sandals" are all that is left to worship for this hideous scene described as a belief; and the "hospice" of slaughter by the "non-believers". PRIVATE MOORINGS

Satish with your gift of artistry you reveal a bit of yourself in this talented peace poem of revelation and voice for all peoples that longing for peace can not be a "whisper", but rather a shout, for war is still in continuum. "...I will talk to delphniums..." a wonderful metaphor of the blue flower that listened before the shouts, long ago when you whispered of sights and memories of war. Thank you Satish :)Marcia Schechinger, USA

Satish I am ever amazed at the presence of your works. None can read them fast, as they mold in the mind word by word until finally the reader feasts on your knowledge and experiences. With the "concentration camp", how could one not come back in an "alternative mind". As always for you, you give great insight to the reality of prejudice and inhumanity. In doing this, the reader is encouraged ever more greatly to pray and fight for peace. Thank you.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

BURNING

Emotion has no chance to penetrate such wisdom. After the puppet show / the nest was calling... when a writing put its step to move on the space in such a way, simply a silent cry from deep deep of the human life overwhelmes the reader. Mathematics, calculation....alls are bogus dust dancing with puppetiers nail.

But the consolation also runs with the spirit with a sense of immortality:

After birth there was no death of my / rhyme. The flesh has gone, only
the burning bones are lying / on bed of roses.

HUSHED SPEECH

People are always trying to find a 'meaning' to any poem they read. I habitually do this to, but try to remind myself that a meaning is not central to poetry. I admit I'm not understanding this poem. Even so, I can appreciate the imagery. I can't help but wonder, what was the writing process like for you? Was it that each line naturally fell into place from the back of your mind, or did you go over and edit, testing the sounds of each line to get to this? Interesting piece.- Ian McArthur

THIS DAY

Satish "...I am ready to jump out the window, stories down on the legends, unburdened!", finishing lines that master the esteemed principles behind your poems. LAND’S SMELL

Satish being a great fan of the metaphors, you enrich the meaning in your poems with bold and blundt visuals so as the reader can feel, taste and touch the devastation of war and want for peaceful nations. BOUND BY CEILING

Satish as always your works are a masterpiece of insights. To feel the hunger, the loss, the doom of being "Ostracized" in such a hideous manner. I wonder of the "black boots" and how they could see such pain and not dream hellish dreams at night. DEWDROP

Satish the visual concept of old and young alike facing the lack of life or future is unconceivable to us who live in freedom. With your images, "...surface tension - a venom creeps surging in twin black eyes...", the horrors before the massacres how could one not have a "Dewdrop" at such a holocaustal moment. FRUGALITY

Satish a sight from the tortureous camps, some would put wax in their ears rather than hear the truth. But you boldly pay homage to those tortured and let their lives not be in vain as "outcasts" because some madmen found them necessary to be destroyed. ONCE UPON

Satish this particular piece, dedicated to our hungry children, incites the want to do more, "...something to be done for the hungry child's scream...". I, too, join you in the frustration of this mechanical world where self is greater than babies. Satish upon reading your work the reader is transported to a time of terror and insanity. As I piece your works together bits of life, not life, open the doors of the reality of vaults that secured helpless people and I am ashamed that nothing could be done about it. "...I have still not come to terms with the neck high milkless gaze". Killings do not bring peace, how can leaders be so weak and fear what they do not know.
