In Silent Burial

Every night is a torture. When sun betrays the days, who can be the keeper of light, of truth! Good poem, Satishji. Top score.-UNNIKRISHNAN Sivasankara Menon

Cuts And Bruises

Very vivid imagery here. I can almost see the colors ans scenes. I like how you gave nature a personality here. It's one of my favorite things. Great read!-Laurierose

Touching You Daily

Borders sing of invitations
made of barbed wire
and ancient locks

Kittens mewl at dawn
whenever boots fall
a treaty of opposites speak.

Old fossils dove dream
the skies are on fire
no one listens to creaking earth

Another mango limb falls
the leaves know their value
no hands were severed.-allets

Commentary On Last Wishes

'I never want to talk
about truth, as if everyone knows
it. I write poetry.'
how pathetic
all those hours
invested
and yet, still envisage
Poetry
devoid of Truth...

a sad, bitter

Alone In Crowd

(once again, dear cherished Poet
and kind, Guru
you've inspired me to surpass
my feeble limits
with these words of a poetic reply
thank you!)
'intentions
transmuting our wishful, yearnings
into sincerity's, reality fragments
a syllable
imbued with more life, than an ocean
of desire's, aspirations..
a lifetime's conversation, in but a versed line
or a winking Moon's realisations
in but a blurry stanza
of vehemence to humility's, divinity
resonance;
inking, squeezed vitamin D
insight's
from all that cherished, Nature
we observe as we absorb
freeing ourselves, to reach
in hope
than one other, may understand
our need for solace's company
shoulder to shoulder, in that pit of life
with our brethren's, in contemplation
of humanistic ideal's
anchored by our selfish, ambitions...-L. B. Mek
