Catching Myself

'The craft of harvesting
will not stand the acid test.
What do you see when
there is good sunset?

Still combustible
a cinder gives off flames
inside you and inner silence
becomes bold.

In between the sentences,
the pause betrays the balance.
You cannot decipher―
the code of sacrifice.'

Brilliant!-L. B. Mek

'Guru' - I humbly thank you-L. B. Mek

Wonderfully written Satish. I like how you say, "to blunt my hyperaesthesia which wants to drink moonlight. Clumsy with my pen, I write and rewrite a message which will not reach you." Regards- Pauline Miller, UK

Adieu (To God)

A well-constructed piece of poetry indeed Satish.-Peter Kiggin

Painless Green

I'm really in love with the
I'm really in love with the line "the fish smells the man". Structurally, visually, metaphorically, this is a great poem, I feel. The message, if I am indeed beginning to unravel and understand it, is wrapped well within.-lyrycsyntyme

Punishment

Your story When it's dark outside and you're lying in your bed Your eyes are open but you're somewhere else inside your head The mind is spinning and you unravel the story that you read The truth of all the things you've done and have ever said Like a film of everything you've seen and been to and now its lead To some memories you keep and turmoil's leaving scars that only you know that bled The special moments captured like a bright light that you fumble around to tread The awkward silences and misfortunes that somehow turn into your final dread The things you shouldn't have done but you did them consequentially instead And then you fall asleep in the darkness of the night and dream another dream that may lie ahead…see more-Peter Kiggin

Satish , I have a feel of your work and it is not unlike mine as we both tangle with the present and past like two soldiers going out on a battle field to find only injured and dead bodies in our way.-Peter Kiggin

rocks understand

What a powerful poem! Your brown eyes still chase me to cross the wet boundaries of pain. A chunk of a star can decide. I love these summing up lines. Sad, if the rock could have understood your pain! May the portion of star you are waiting May hear you. Regards.-Dhal Jirel 'Ravi', NEPAL
