Disoriented

Brilliant! What images! 'The black name was crawling on the white paper'! Indeed death has many names and the realisation can help one come out of the disorientation. But when the slave has become the master, will the realisation ever come...that is the question. Thank you for sharing this. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata

Though difficult to know the central idea it is still enjoyable because of diction and beautiful imageies.-KH Prabhu, Kumta, Karnataka

Satish, such a fine poem...10+++-Bernard F. Asuncion

The Nectarine Bliss

What other than destruction would it mean! Just look at us, our mindset, we have created nukes to threat, but we have not been able to use any instrument that could heal the earth. If I create a weapon for mass destruction, with eyes wide open you will be scared of me (fear); this fear I will take as respect. Many countries now have weapons that can destroy the earth just to wheel respect and join the power club, but no countries have any instrument that can heal the earth after the nuke would be fired. Much enjoyed the lines Satish. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata

Who Was Faithful?

Incinerated

Destruction of waste material by burning is well developed on no uncertain terms. However, we never seem to burn our own beliefs, our own wastes; guillotine of god, for the sake of god takes place time and again. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata

A metaphorical poem. The creativity and vulnerability of the night expressed strikingly in a few lines. TFS. -Annapurna Sharma, Nellore

'The poetry matters,
when it is dark.'
it's because it brings light.-KH Prabhu, Kumta, Karnataka

It's the hidden unpleasant part of society that is woven in a clever way in the lines of the third stanza, well the shedding of horns happens annually, unfortunately it happens more frequently in society and yes poetry is the refuge that comes with its own secrets as a coping mechanism. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata

It gave me a sense of enigma. And that's why it seems more appealing. :) -Chirasree Bose, Hyderabad

A Nondescript Night

Completely had me flumuxed. It was exactly as the title said "a nondescript night but what threw me was the last line you can start reading a murder. It's still whirring around my head what was the connection hence being flumuxed but an enjoyable piece none the less. Best wishes.-Milly Hayward

A Lone Journey

Your images are always vast, it takes your readers on a ride, otherwise the lone journey that starts with a feather's fall on the mirror also travels as a bride's experiencing rose petals to unthink is a marvellous way of talking about a journey that has to take meandering turns to the unknown. I find this realisation filled with awe and intriguing Satish ji. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata

Dear Satish, It's indeed a challenging world where God and temple, love and word, truth and terror cohabit.. jostling in the same space. You've portrayed it in your inimitable, sage-like way. Thank you.

Solemnity

Paralysed

Just brilliant with the stark, hollow and red images that have paralysed our society, translformed the blue ball into a gas chamber. The images are vivid, shocking and heart-wrenching. The last stanza says it all. -Supratik Sen, Kolkata
