IMPERFECT PRESENT

What a scary poem. This one scares even me. And it wrings compassion from my eyes. Lots of terrible truth packed here, delivering a painful punch to the heart. The world is indeed in an imperfect present, and you have made the case with poetic skill and power. Such a world is either a mystery with unknown answers, or else all is futility, eternal injustice, and tragedy. --Michael LP. -  poetwithcancer

The imagery you bring out in this lyric is both desolate, eery and has a devastating beauty to it. As harsh and with open questions as life itself. -  rain
