Leading a life of "nothingness" is what many do or at least feel they do. It is nothing to be ashamed of as we all have purpose in God's eyes. Trying to accomplish something special in one's final years is crazy. Look at the people whom have been affected by knowing you. A meekness filled life is still a good life. "The Meek shall inherit the earth." Heroes come in many styles. The man who stays with his family, teaches them to love God and life, and never gives up on them is every bit the hero that a lifesaver is. Good poem- e. Gene Myers
