There are many ways to interpret that poem. I saw and felt the struggle to cling to the innocence and comfort of the past and to dare to reach for the wonder and fear of the future. Even the use of words revealed conflict between meaning and understanding. There is also a deep sense of irony, in that the progress of science only opens more questions and reveals more that we do not know.-Gaelwynn
