a three way split on this one road in the sense that the writer is looking at three ways to find solace and understanding and then concludes there is only the one path that lies not in the deep trench of life he once was ready to turn over and sow the seeds of love an life he once treasured for so long
now he is looking elsewhere and the words change once more with the mood of the story as he moves further away from what he has held dear and now wishes to return to a home enviroment that he hopes to find and return to, no more commas needed because there will be no more full stops either as he walks fully prepared to find that goal and realises that pain and jealousy will not solve anything so he moves away from their thorny side .
