Head And Torso

Amazing finish. We are only temporary shells of the soul.
Once again, 3 min. to feel this one. I do not watch the clock as one might think. -Lawless

Astonishingly so!-Laura

Yellow Roses

A thought provoking piece and enjoyable read.-Milly Hayward

The simile of fishing for words without a line is a good one. I liked the extended reference to water with the reflected moon and emptying hands.
The questions are mystfyingly thought provoking.-Mr. Darcy

One Cold Morning

I decided to read each 1st/ 2nd and 3rd lines together and I found it interesting:
After a
dawn December
the dew drips

Good shower - moon was recently washed
trees getting ready
I collect the elixir

braiding the clouds
to drink the sun
to die again.-Mr. Darcy

Dismay

This really makes me think, it was written in such a way that it could be interpreted differently each time. I really enjoyed the flow of the poem and how it didn't tell us what we should be feeling but rather it hinted at possibilities. Great poem! -cjshadow21

The Stinging Withdrawl

I like the neat little stanzas. The poem itself has lovely internal rhyme, like: suspense and intense. Also the imagery of rain/fire/clouds and my favourite - barefoot on grass, I mean, everyones got to feel that one.

I was confused the the odd placement of the question marks, perhaps that is the idea?

I feel this poem is about fuelled revenge. The poem ends well, with the sky falling onto roses and with it eyes blur and close - the end.

This poem could be a warning to the world that is so messed up and on its way to self-anihalation, or simply a more personal, individual write. Either way, I liked it.-Mr. Darcy
