A Sunny Wait...

Satish the magnificence in your work is your capacity to, almost, put the reader in your shoes. To feel the "days of nostalgia" turn into "black" and "white", where the sinners devour the flesh of the earthly saints. I wish the sun could erase away the darkness of war and cruelty for you personally, and also for us that the world could live in harmony - as it should. Thank you Satish for your ever devoted work for peace.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

DEATH OF A SHADOW

Leading a life of "nothingness" is what many do or at least feel they do. It is nothing to be ashamed of as we all have purpose in God's eyes. Trying to accomplish something special in one's final years is crazy. Look at the people whom have been affected by knowing you. A meekness filled life is still a good life. "The Meek shall inherit the earth." Heroes come in many styles. The man who stays with his family, teaches them to love God and life, and never gives up on them is every bit the hero that a lifesaver is. Good poem- e. Gene Myers

MEANINGLESS

Sometimes I Just don't understand you? Explain this poem!!

Punctuating the silence, words
again scream, fly like eagles
in the valley of wounds. How far
the fire will go engulfing the untouchable?- She Whispers

ANNIHILATION

Your so far out there I have no idea what your talking about??? PLease explain!!-She Whispers

MEANING BESIDE ME

Newborn roses and dahlias
speak through
the nothingness of fear.
I just saw the face of death
floating on a pond.
Ashes and bones out of the urn.- She Whispers

A Rebel Being Born

And ardjurna does not want the war with his own family as KRISHNA explains what duty means - Thank GOD for peace- Danny Coon, USA

AGEISM

The expressive phrasing in this piece is both intriguing and insightful. "Ageism" has been a blight in some countries for more than a long time and has demeaned the wisdom which often accompanies the older perceptive human. May age remain unchained for as long as it can in this age of little compassion. The final line in this compelling verse is its most brilliant and can be used as a mantra for whaever age we are. Thank you for this posting dear friend.- Fay Slimm

Sinking boatman

Beautiful lines, and bewilderingly so, and beyond comprehension by my wooden brain and ungrasping grey matter. Satish Verma-ji, please have pity on the less imaginative readers like me, and explain the meaning at least once in a way. Thanking you and with regards.-Narasimha Sarma Rachakonda, Visakhapatnam

THE TEAR OF THINGS

Satish "...The tears. Are they not sufficent to give the depth of immensity?", one would think! How soulful when others can not feel the tears of nations in unrest. As always, my admiration goes out to you and your constant battle with war and inhumanities in this world. Thank you my dear friend Satish.- Marcia Schechinger, USA

Blankscape

Dear poet, I scored in American literature just 18 marks. University cannot be wrong. You look like an American.I am awed by your thoughts. All the best. -mvvenkataraman, Chennai

WE WILL SCREAM TOGETHER

Tree was calling again / for immoralism of flowers, quashing / his life. ...The brave violence survives the mutilated / dreams. Fantastic the observation and its interpretation by the light of eternity. Sometimes our conscious acts as such mathematical accuracy to translate our inner vision. Logical poetry perhaps emerged from this urge of expressing our soul. Salute such skill of crafting the beauty mingled with intelligence. -Pranab k chakraborty
