Tragedies of war and unnatural deaths happen in spite of our faith in an omnipotent, all-caring and protective 'Lord' - attributes perceived by us as hallmarks of the Supreme. We absolve the Lord of failure to be just with our convoluted reasoning. The poem makes us ponder. -GSP Rao, Hyderabad
