What a beautiful, evocative, lyric dance through the world of things and the world of thoughts. I am taken by the °paradox° teetering gently in the morning stillness between old age and youth, innocence and experience. The play between the head and heart, what is graspable and what simply, or possibly all too complexly, is not brings to life the moment when reader meets poem. A spark of light.-Lantz Pierre

Glad to see the master of comment is back.-Robert Murray Smith

As usual and i am sure you know this is a well crafted poem The universal truth held in this work flow outward and touches i am sure many lives for we all have felt these feeling our selves at different times and in different places The summation and the helplessness expressed in 'I hold this insult
in the throes of conscience with tears.' but there is hope in the last stanza enjoyed great work on the human condition. Yes there is always hope 10 +++++.-Paul Brookes
