I feel more reading needed on this one.
“The cobalt was emitting radiation” – you use “cobalt” again. It’s damaging effects seem more than to the physical.
“A child in polythene, O golden god
you have killed the man by giving him
the gifts. The sand-pit, I am buried
alive in it before I understood.” – very striking imagery – man let loose in the playground of possibilities without havbing the attainment of a disciplined mind through growth. -Gion Gion
