Translating Death

Voyage
All that you were left with was the breath. It joined us, a boat traversing the sea. Waves rolled up and passed beneath. They slapped the boards and unbalanced the desired calm. The salt left stains that never completely washed away. The mast superfluous the sails hung limp.-Lantz Pierre
