The images are not grounded. How can windows kill you? Of course I know in the literal sense but this poem is not written in that style... I would advise.. write about what you know, let the metaphors find you and not base your poetry around them. Speak in your voice - write how you would say it and build up the metaphors or other thingies around them. Keep penning.- Michael Ashley
