NAKED FREEDOM

A fitting sequel to the very dark occasion, Satish. I especially love the third stanza:

A sleepless summer night
descends on the hill
violins in dark
lie mutilated
To liken living beings to the beauty that is derived from violins is remarkable, and to depict them in death is heartrending, but such is truth, and truth must not be hidden, no matter the horror and injustice.
Thanks for the poem, and I also want to thank you for the last two volumes of poetry; I read and study them with much enjoyment and stimulation of mind. - oxygon
