It underscores the dark reality of a darkest moment—the utter disdain for this baffling miracle we know as life, yet some will casually snuff it out, and dismiss it as if it were a stone that belies the tip of a new pair of shoes! This last stanza, Satish, burns my heart, but not without hope that we can somehow rise above such devastation of the human spirit.
